At far too young an age, Brad Shreve developed a love for political satire and became an avid fan of the Doonesbury comic strip. After years of taking art classes and design his own strips he realized he enjoyed writing the stories more than the visual art. His thoughts turned to being a writer someday.

Brad has two published novels as part of his Mitch O’Reilly Mystery series. A third will be released in 2024.

In 2019, he launched the Queer Writers of Crime podcast, which was named by Buzzfeed as one of the top 20 queer podcasts in 2022. In 2023, he began Queer We Are, a podcast featuring LGBTQ people featuring positive stories. He believes too many who identify as LGBTQ+ aren't aware of good things happening. 

Brad lives in the California High Desert with his husband and best friend, Maurice.
